Scaling New Heights: The Fight For Air Climb 2026

This past weekend, I headed into the city with my son and two of his friends for a unique challenge: the American Lung Association’s Fight For Air Climb. We gathered at Three Logan Square, ready to tackle the stairs for a great cause.

It was an inspiring atmosphere, filled with people pushing their limits to support lung health research and advocacy. Watching the boys prepare for the climb was a highlight of the trip, and they all put in an incredible effort.

My son really gave it his all on the stairwell. He finished 60th out of 356 participants, reaching the top with a stellar time of 11 minutes and 6 seconds. I couldn't be prouder of his performance and the determination he showed.

It was a rewarding way to spend a Saturday—supporting a meaningful organization while seeing the next generation step up (literally!) to the challenge.
