Cantarito
Similar to a Paloma but elevated with a vibrant trinity of fresh citrus juices. Traditionally served in a clay pot to keep it ice-cold, it delivers a sunny, tropical punch.
Ingredients: 2 oz Tequila (Blanco or Reposado), 1 oz fresh orange juice, ½ oz fresh grapefruit juice, ½ oz fresh lime juice, and 3 oz grapefruit soda.
How to Make It: Salt the rim of your glass if desired. Combine the tequila and the three fresh citrus juices in a shaker with ice and shake briefly. Strain over fresh ice into your glass, top with the grapefruit soda, and stir gently. Garnish with an orange wheel.
Texas Ranch Water
The ultimate low-effort, ultra-crisp summer highball. It is incredibly bubbly, sharp, and designed to keep you cool on the hottest afternoons.
Ingredients: 2 oz Tequila Blanco, 1 oz fresh lime juice, and 4 to 5 oz of chilled sparkling mineral water (ideally high-effervescence, like Topo Chico).
How to Make It: Build this drink directly in a tall glass filled to the brim with ice. Pour in the tequila and fresh lime juice, top with the sparkling mineral water, and give it a quick, gentle stir. Serve with a lime wedge.
